My private life

There are few things determining my life:
  • expression - to tell the untellable
  • exploration - to see the unseen
  • dreams - to realize the impossible

Somehow, sometimes I sense a strong need inside to share some of the beautiful - either trivial or non-trivial - aspects of the world I notice around myself. In special cases I think that simple usage of the language is not expressive enough. Therefore I am trying to constrain the words into poems. The success rate is low: the rhymes usually strain. However, I do not give up - some people understand and like them. In other cases I try to quietly transform that inside urge through smiles and making others smile. This does not work all the time - as already discussed in a PhD dissertation, but some people say that this is much better then trying to show the harmonies in the world by my playing music. But my last name obliges. Its English translation means violinist. Now I play the viola, mostly classical music, but I also dabble in Hungarian and Celtic folk tunes. You can find some samples here.

The desire of exploration is not limited only to work. And it is combined with dreams. Simple ones. Just bike until it gets dark, stop at the side of the road, prepare food, set tent, and sleep. And do the same on the next day either in the middle of nowhere or at the seashore through historical towns. Or just climb up to the top of the worlds, get wet or frozen, look around the peaks in the land of the ice and snow. Or just play in the waves of the ocean. When I was a kid, I did not think that all the types of adventures I was reading and dreaming about could happen to me. No! Much more beautiful, much more interesting, and much more dangerous than I could have ever imagined.

Here are some of the people, whom I have to say thanks for all of these (the list will be continued if I gather more pictures):
